Error Message: "This account is inactive."

If you attempt to log into OpenTreeMap and receive the error message "This account is inactive," your account was never activated at set-up.

When you create an OpenTreeMap account, you will receive a confirmation email with the subject line "Welcome to OpenTreeMap." This email contains a web link that is active for seven days, which you must click on in order to complete your account set-up. If you are within the seven day window, search your email inbox for the email to complete the account set-up. Please be sure to check your Spam folders if you cannot find the email. 

If it has been more than seven days, you must create a new account with a new email address. We do not have a way to resend this link. If you have any additional questions, please get it touch at opentreemap@azavea.com.
