Creating New User Roles

By default, OpenTreeMap creates three user roles: public, editor, and administrator. You can create an unlimited number of additional user roles to accommodate your user base. To add additional roles to your Tree Map, log in and select "Manage" from the navigation bar in the top left; then select "Roles" from the Administration menu on the left. 

At the top of the page, enter a name for the new role you would like to add, and click "Create Role". Once a role is created, you can edit the role permissions to meet your needs. By default, new role permissions are set to Invisible or Read Only.
